CALL OF CTHULHU

The following files are player handouts from my Call of Cthulhu campaign. The campaign uses a present day setting, partially based on Pagan Publishing's Delta Green, but the handouts could be modified for other settings. The files are now in PDF format - hopefully this is an improvement over the old Word versions.

Most of the  files here are autopsy reports on various Cthulhu beasties, for that all-important Scully-chops-up-the-wierd-corpse scene so critical to investigation oriented present day CoC campaigns. By profession, I am a histopathology technician, although I don't work with criminal cases and we've never yet had a Cthuloid monstrosity in our mortuary. This should mean that the technical language is fairly authentic, and I can vouch that the layout of the reports looks much the same as the real ones we use at work. I've included a section at the end of each report which explains what a competent character ought to be able to conclude from the information discovered - this will be handy for players with pathologist PCs who don't know the jargon themselves. Reports can be used as provided if PCs 'discover' them somewhere, or can be used to improvise an autopsy scene for pathologist PCs.

* - this has absolutely nothing to do with the very silly Santilli Controversial Autopsy Movie (aka the 'SCAM') which bears no real resemblance to how an actual autopsy is conducted! I just invented it, OK guys? Oh yeah, and there some differences from the way Greys are described in the official Delta Green setting, but consistent with the way they work in my campaign.
